The elementary school, home to grades 2-6, is the second school in the MRH District to see the wonderful faces of our favorite animal. It was exciting to chicken lovers across the district (myself included) to hear that we had seven newcomers. The majority of those new babes are Polish Crested, so-called because of beautiful feathers surrounding their heads. Fanciful and fabulous, these kinds are usually bullied by others, unfortunately for them and their loving owners. However, we’ve turned the tables! Since Polish Crested chickens are just so great, we’ve put more of them than any other breed in this new coop, ensuring the dominance they deserve. MRH: 1 Typical Pecking Order: 0
